Isn’t that how the annoying announcement from radio and television begins? Hopefully this test video, our first using our new camera, isn’t as annoying. Of course, Dane’s not here yet, the subject matter isn’t quite as exciting, but everyone loves a sunset.
The administrators of “The Adventures of Dane” promise that once the star is born, the videos will increase in cuteness by 73%!

Dane’s newest photoshoot came as the doctor is checking on his size – weight, hat size, shoe size, gloves… It seems that the not-so-little guy is cooking in an “Easy Bake Oven” style and will be fully cooked before his final due date. Our next OB appointment, Tuesday morning, will undoubtedly see a “due date” being set within the VERY near future. We’ll let you know.

Per the doctor’s orders, we have been keeping a “kick count” of Dane lately. A decent count is 20 kicks within a two hour period. It seems our little Dane is a bit of a Karate Kid, with Mommy getting sufficient results that cause her to end the count because the number gets too high. Of course some of these blows may be “paint the fence” punches, but who’s to say. In any case, images of Daniel Larusso fighting Johnny’s evil “sweep the leg” mentality come to mind.

Avatar had better watch out. Our little guy (he’s only 3 pounds or so) has entered the 4-d realm. Why do they call it 4-d you ask? In any case, here he is! Unfortunately for him, it looks like he may have gotten Daddy’s nose. Ouch! Luckily, he seems to have Mom’s lips, as well as her goop floating all around him. You may also notice, in a pic or two, the baby “..putting his hands in the air…”, and as Mommy can attest, “…waving them around like he just don’t care…”.
Track Dane’s progress through sonograms below. We start off seeing the little guy at 6 centimeters, followed by his progression to becoming “a real boy”.
Towards the end of October, we found out the sex of the baby. From this day on, the baby would be known as Dane. Go Dane!
