Mommy and Me

Wednesday, June 22nd, 2011

Dane loves his Mommy!  Dane’s Mommy loves him!  Parenthood is the best thing ever!

This one makes Daddy laugh. Look at Dane's little head.

...focus on Mommy...

Buy me toys! (It's the "red eyed" Dane.)

I'm hungry. Gimme that shoulder.

Catch a candid.

Fashion Show

Wednesday, June 22nd, 2011

Dane’s been getting ready for his 4th of July trip to Montana.  He’s made his waxing appointment, gotten a photo-facial, mani/pedi, started a summertime diet, and now is trying to figure out what fabulous ensembles will make the cut and accompany our man to MT.  (None of the above actually happened, but picturing it is kind of funny.  No?)

Check him out.

Collar up, Fresh and Fly...

Usually it's Mommy that's crabby. (Daddy is going to PAY for that one.)

What's up lil homie?

The Many Faces of Dane

Wednesday, June 22nd, 2011

Dane is a man of many faces, as the title says.  One moment, he’s happy, one moment he’s perplexed, every moment of every day, he’s loved VERY much.  Go Dane!

You want to love me! You know you do!

Did I do that? (Just practicing, of course.)

I'm "The" Dane Taylor Jackson?

See you next time!

Mommy’s cousin recently drove up from Orange County for a visit. Meagan brought her handsome, cheerful son Rocco and a yet to be named, yet to be born baby in her belly.

The mommies had a great time reminiscing about childhood and the joys of pregnancy and morning sickness. Hehe!

Look up here! (Anyone remember "The Three Amigos"?)

Kids are slippery.

Father’s Day Bonus Post

Monday, June 20th, 2011

This information was burning up the information superhighway.  It was too good to hide from the Internets.  So here it is; See Dane as he wakes from a nap in raw action.

The little guy, often times in good spirits, awoke from a nap and was purely enthralled by the “Present”.

Check out the 1:03 mark and see if you can keep yourself from spitting whatever liquid that is in your mouth, all over your keyboard.  (“The Adventures of Dane” are not liable for any computer hardware that is ruined as a result of this experiment.)

Happy Father’s Day!

Monday, June 20th, 2011

We here at “The Adventures of Dane” would like to wish all the dads out there, a happy father’s day!  It is nice to have a special day devoted to you.  So dads, it’s your day!  Now where are my diamonds?  (Daddy seriously wouldn’t mind a platinum tooth up front, perhaps with a small diamond.)

Today is Dane’s daddy’s first Father’s Day.  The day started with a coffee and a nice walk, followed by hamburgers on the grill with friends.  It will shortly be followed by a hand crafted miracle created with love by Trappist monks in a Belgian monestary.

As Uncle Stick taught Titus, “Go Dane!”

Dane gives Daddy a talking to.

Let's go for a walk.

My daddy is a delicate flower!

Dude, it's 80 degrees. What's with all of the blankets? (New parents?)

You know, although short lived, the relationship between Obi Wan Kenobi and Luke Skywalker was much like a father/son relationship. Happy Father's Day Obi Wan!

I'm Dane, and I approved this picture.

The Olsens meet Dane for the first time.

Dane already surfs better than MattiO!

Daddy DayCare Rulz (L-R Jeffro,Dane,Piper,Mattio,Titus)

You're my hero!

"Dude, have you been taking pictures this whole time?" (Dane likes to say dude!)

Daddy's favorite thing in the world!

Dane’s Kicking off Summer

Tuesday, June 14th, 2011

Dane seems to be happy that dad is home for summer. The two boys get a little hang time in the mornings, allowing Mommy to get a little nap in. She needs it, as Dane has decided he doesn’t want to sleep through the night any more, and would rather, a midnight snack. Never fear, Mommy and Daddy are strategizing a plan of attack for Dane’s scheduling.

Daddy’s oldest friend Bryan, his wife Adri, and the star of the show, Mason are visiting from Houston this week.  They were able to accompany Dane on an excursion to Santa Barbara.  Dane faired well on the adventure, only becoming fussy on the drive home.  In his defense, it was a little late and encroaching upon Dane’s “wind down” time.  As he always says, “It’s tough work being so cute.”

We haven’t seen the evidence yet, but there is word of a picture of the two daddies pushing strollers down State Street in Santa Barbara.  Daddies’ plans of ditching the mommies and picking up chicks was foiled early and a great time was had by all.  Best of all, the mommies didn’t buy ANYTHING!  (Just kidding, they did get a small amount of cosmetics.  Miracles don’t happen!)

Daddie's morning breath knocked Dane out

Sleeping Angel

What does Dane dream of when he takes a little Dane nap?

Hi everybody!

I'm so excited and I just can't hide it!

Let me wake up

Dog-gone cute!

"I'm shy Daddy!"

Is it time for my fashion show?

That's not a beer belly.

Bryan and Dane giving you the red-eyed stare. Are you scared?

Shout out for Mason!!! (Owls go "Who, who"!)

Hi, I’m Dane!

Dang, I’m Smooth!

Friday, June 10th, 2011

It was a wise man that once said, it could have been George Washington, or perhaps Jesus: “Don’t hate the playah’, hate the game!”  Dane subscribes to this philosophy.  (Don’t even get him started on existentialism, nihilism, or the Superman complex!)

Jack Tripper would have loved this outfit.

Tuesday with Dane

Wednesday, June 8th, 2011

In case you haven’t noticed, the webmasters at “The Adventures of Dane”, with the exception of wonderfully relaxing mountain retreats, love to take photos of young Master Jackson. All of us at the company find Dane to be both extrememly cute and lovingly photogenic. We’ll promise to keep ‘em coming, if you promise to keep on looking.

We are very excited for the prospects the coming summer brings for spending time with Dane.

May Dane brighten your day, as he so often does ours!

It wasn't me!

That was funny.

Have you watched "Smokey and the Bandit" lately?

Oh behave.

Dane took this picture himself....Really....he did....OK...he didn't.

There is some baby paraphanelia in the pictures above.

I'm sorry for scratching my face.

Gimme' a kiss!
