Got Prunes?

Monday, August 29th, 2011

Dane has decided to eat prunes and wear a bit as well.

The Adventures of Dane staff would like to apologize for some of the lighting and focus issues in several of Dane’s prunes shots. The flash was distracting the little guy, thus had to go.

Daddy doesn’t know what prunes taste like. Do you?

Dane, Grandma, and Uncle Buck

Monday, August 22nd, 2011

Grandpa Mickey affectionately bestowed upon Uncle Joshie, the nickname “Uncle Buck”. It’s funny, and unless Josh cries, will probably stick. Who are we kidding, it would most certainly stick if Joshie cries. (J/K Uncle Joshie!)

Daddy got Dane a new toy. It’s a jumperoo, and he likes it!

Dane Visits Seattle

Friday, August 19th, 2011

Dane just returned from more jetsetting across the country. The destination of his most recent travels was the state of Washington. The little guy hung out with Grandma Nae, Grandpa Mickey, and, for the first time, met his Uncle Buck (Joshie).

Dane had a nice visit. The weather cooperated and was sunny for his entire trip. Pike Place Market was a favorite part of the trip for our lad. He especially enjoyed watching his dear old dad pay $5 for 2 peaches. (The peaches were super, but come on.)

Dane has decided that he likes trees! He will possibly be hugging them in the future.

Dane, Grandma Nae, and Bambie

I like Seattle and will shortly be forming a grunge rock band. Watch out Eddie Vedder!

Dane doesn't drink coffee yet, but likes to hang in coffee shops.

Dane’s First Solid Food

Monday, August 1st, 2011

Well, it’s rice cereal, which is not exactly solid, but a heck of a lot more so that his recent meals.  Dane has taken to his rice cereal and is now finishing his batch.  (Is a bowl of rice cereal called a batch?  I mean, it’s not a full bowl, more like a…)

Pretty soon, Mommy will begin steaming veggies and fruits and start the process of making Dane’s baby food.  Daddy will eat some too!
