Bubbles

Tuesday, September 25th, 2012

There are no pictures or videos for this post, but it will serve more as a bit of history.

Dane wore sunglasses today for an hour while he and Daddy played outside. He also blew his first true bubbles on his own. He knows that weights are heavy and that the neighbors cat goes meow. The lifeguard’s truck tires at the beach yesterday caused him to erupt into a joyous chorus of “wheel” and “circle”. Dane likes to ride his “bicycle”.

Dane likes to smile!

Sappy

Saturday, September 22nd, 2012

Daddy and Dane frolic in the grass, Bette Midler croons, a butterfly glides along, somewhere a rainbow weeps, nearby a gorilla goes to the bathroom. The song choice adds a tongue-in-cheek feel to a truly fun moment.

How cool was it when Dane brought Mommy a flower?

Who is the hero, who is the wind, and where are the wings? (Perhaps whom should be in there somewhere. Perhaps we should still be writing in calligraphy and learning cursive in schools. Perhaps a lot of things.)

Welcome to the Jungle!

Tuesday, September 18th, 2012

Giraffes don’t typically cruise in the jungle, but they also don’t typically cruise in Santa Barbara. However, at the Santa Barbara Zoo, they do. Dane recently got up close and personal with the tongue of one of our long necked friends. He was a bit timid, but seemed to enjoy the experience. Upon watching playback of the video, he smiled a big grin and giggled. He’s a good boy!

More Fun With Dane

We’ve shot a lot of video lately, going back a bit. Here it is.

18 Months?

Sunday, September 16th, 2012

Dane recently turned 18 months. It’s hard to believe, he was just a baby 18 months ago. We were looking at recent pictures the other night and couldn’t believe how much he is starting to look like a little boy. He’s not a baby anymore.

He knows there is a baby in Mommy’s tummy. He talks up a storm, some of which we actually understand. He runs around, playing his heart out. He pulls tomatoes and leaves off of Daddy’s plants. He pees in the potty at times. He’s a little boy!

Enjoy several sides of Dane, mostly unedited and uncut.

Love This Guy!!!

How old is Old McDonald, really?

Monday, September 10th, 2012

Dane recently turned 18 months old. Dane recently learned to say, “No.” Luckily, he doesn’t utilize an emphatic tone when responding in the negative. Dane’s a good kid. Ask his parents, and they’ll probably let you know that he is the best kid. Best on the block, by a mile.

Now because of all of this bestness, and a killer grin, Dane gets to go on adventures. A recent Saturday, September 8, 2012, saw Dane adventure to an old favorite, Underwood Farms, and play on his newly acquired play-house. The kid’s, as the pictures will show, got it good.

In addition, Dane has recently taken to pee-peeing in the potty several times a day. A poo-poo has been rumored to have taken place in said potty. H e double hockey sticks, with one brother on the way, and things going so easily, we may have to pop out a couple more of these guys. Go Mommy!!! (Strong not of SARCASM placed on the previous sentence. Dane loves you!!!

Can you spot Dane's little brother?

Where are the nuggets? (Dane has actually never had chicken nuggets.)

It's brunch!
