As Dane anticipates the arrival of a baby brother, life goes on in the Jackson household. This weekend saw Dane make a trip to the library to check out several (15) new books for the grandparents to read to him whilst parental units are hospitalized upon the arrival of Dane’s sibling. While at the library, Dane fed ducks bread. He liked this a lot. Dad had his hands full keeping Dane from falling into the duck pond and from touch duck poop. “Poopoo yucky!” Dane always enjoys the library, especially this Thousand Oaks location, due to the saltwater fish tank with a variety of fish.
Dane also drove Daddy’s car around the neighborhood and practiced walking along the “skinny curb”, only falling on his face one time. This balance preparation is sure to come into play in future sporting endeavors (read, board-sports).
Daddy went to work for a half day on Friday in order to accompany Dane to his First Five class. The school is closed whenever Daddy is off of work. The class went well and all parties thoroughly enjoyed the morning.

"Quack, quack duckies."
